What We’re About

Community. Health. Opportunity. Inclusiveness. Creativity. Excellence.

My Choice is a social enterprise that works alongside communities in London, UK & Lagos, Nigeria to help all community members have equal access to positive life choices.

We conduct tailor made workshops, community business projects, activity programmes and call-to-action talks to captivate young people and provide support in their key school years and post 16 transition. We work with families to improve mental and physical health outcomes through cycling.

We run programmes to support marginalised adults in their journey to upskilling and unlocking their potential. We provide support to help people navigate difficult times. We use sports to tackle isolation, health inequalities and build community.

Our aim is to inspire, motivate and support people to realise their potential and provide assistance to meet their goals. We believe in the power of community & feel that communities nurture and unlock the potential of their members, so our projects are led by those on the ground.

Our work is motivated by the outcome disparity that people from lower socioeconomic groups and black brown ethnic backgrounds face. This disparity is caused by an unlevel playing field, a lack of accessible opportunities and unequal societal treatment.

We partner with real local people, businesses, local government, schools, young people & other community stakeholders to breakdown damaging stereotypes of black and brown people, youth & ex-offenders. We work to support more black and brown community members to become leaders and help to address employment, education and training deficits.
